Markus Carufel, Mike Jurgensen, and Pete Hennings are talented singer/songwriters and multi-instrumentalists who have recently joined forces, performing a diverse array of original songs with influences from folk to pop, and featuring captivating melodies and harmonies.

Mike Jurgensen

Mike Jurgensen has performed solo and with various groups over the past 30 years. He is a 3-time winner of the Will McLean Best New Florida Song Contest and a 3-time finalist in the South Florida Folk Festival Song Contest. For 21 years, Mike was 1/3 of 2PM Band, performing at festivals and acoustic venues around Florida, with 4 CDs to their credit.

Mark Carufel

Mark “Markus” Carufel is a prolific songwriter who has only recently become involved in the Florida Folk community. His songs are a unique blend of folk and pop, featuring captivating melodies and thoughtful lyrics, with influences from the Beatles to respected Florida Folk songwriters.

Pete Hennings

Pete Hennings is a gifted multi-instrumentalist who has also performed with various groups over the past 30 years, most recently as a member of 2PM Band, along with Mike. Pete has performed several times with the Florida Orchestra, and for many years he was Music Editor for the works of Bela Bartok, working with Bartok’s son, Peter.
